April 26, 1991 tornado outbreak – Many well-built homes were swept away, leaving bare foundations behind, and grass was scoured from the ground. Extensive wind-rowing of debris occurred, leaving streaks of debris extending away from empty foundations. Trees and small twigs were completely stripped of their bark. Vehicles were thrown up to .75 mi (1.2 km) from where they originated and were mangled beyond recognition.
